Top 5 Art and Design Apps Performance in Italy Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the Art and Design category on the unified platform in Italy showcased significant trends across the top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $81.9K by the end of September. The app also saw a robust growth in weekly downloads, starting from 46K in early July and peaking at around 69.3K in the last week of September. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, rising from 651K to over 825K.

For AI Photo Editor: BG Remover, the quarter began with a notable decline in weekly downloads from 14.5K to just under 400 by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 8.3K and ending at approximately 5.2K.

ibis Paint X showed a stable performance with weekly revenue remaining relatively constant around the $200 mark, with a slight peak at $307 in late September. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak at 12.1K in late July, while weekly active users remained fairly stable around the 190K mark.

AR Drawing - Sketchar App saw a modest revenue peak at $103 in mid-August, with downloads starting at 9.2K and gradually declining to 3.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased steadily, starting at 15.7K and reaching over 30.2K by the end of September.

Finally, Sketchbook maintained a steady weekly revenue between $90 and $134. Weekly downloads saw a gradual increase from 5.8K to 7.3K. Active users remained stable, hovering around the 58K mark throughout the quarter.
